Sainsbury’s

Case Study

About the Project

Works on a major supermarket in the city of Bath.

Sector: Retail
Location: Bath, Somerset

Client: Sainsbury’s
Date Completed: 2018

Our team erected two scaffold bridges either side, to enable the removal of a large steel canopy and visual improvements to be undertaken to the original bridge.

A condition of this project was that the bridge provided a useable access route to the supermarket for customers and the local community, so the project had to be managed closely and effectively to enable pedestrians to cross at all times. It was also crucial that our operations did not interfere with the live footpath beneath, as well as the water traffic below, which required skilled planning and consideration to ensure success.
